RetroFC is a free, hobby application for playing fantasy football based on historical statistics, together with friends. By using the app you accept these conditions.

What RetroFC is

RetroFC lets you create or join private (or open) leagues, take part in auctions to build your fantasy squad and play matchdays based on real statistics from historic football seasons. The application is currently in beta: some features may change, and you may encounter bugs or service interruptions.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out with your account. We ask you to use truthful details (name and email) and not to create accounts to impersonate other people.

Behaviour in leagues

RetroFC is designed for playing with friends in a friendly setting. Chat messages and team names must remain respectful: we reserve the right to remove inappropriate content or suspend accounts that abuse it.

Service availability

As a hobby project, we do not guarantee a level of uptime or professional support. We do our best to keep the app running and the game data (scores, standings, squads) accurate and preserved, but we cannot rule out interruptions, maintenance or data loss in exceptional cases.

Ownership of content

The names of teams, players and historical statistics used in the app come from public data and are used for entertainment purposes only, without any affiliation with the real teams, players or competitions they refer to.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. If you are the creator of a league that is still active, you will first have to resolve that situation (for example by waiting for the league to end) before you can delete your account, so as not to leave the other participants without a working league.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves during the beta phase. Important changes will be communicated through the app itself.
